The Company manages its business through three distinct business segments:

Pipe Business - This segment produces and sells fibreglass reinforced plastic (FRP) pipes for the oil, gas and water transmission and salt mining industries in China and internationally. Hanwei currently has installed annual capacity of approximately 4,600 km at its primary manufacturing facility in Daqing, Heilongjiang province, China. Hanwei's FRP pipe is API approved.

Flue Gas Desulphurization ("FGD") Business - This segment produces and sells FRP products for FGD pollution control systems for coal-fired power plants in China. The segment operates under a 50/50 joint venture with Ershigs, Inc. ("Ershigs"), a leading US based FRP product manufacturer. Together with Ershigs, Hanwei provides the first China-based FRP FGD solution with advanced technology for large diameter and corrosion resistant products.

Wind Power Equipment Business - This segment produces and sells FRP blades (propellers) and assembles wind turbines and towers for the growing wind power industry in China. The Company's products include 34, 37.5, and 40.3-meter turbine blades, 1.5 megawatt ("MW") double-fed turbines, 1.5 MW direct drive turbines, and tower assemblies. The Company has annual capacity of 400 MW of wind power products from production facilities in Daqing and Tianjin, China.
